Changes

As you may have noticed, I have taken a big step and got a new website!! If you are interested in viewing it it is linked at the right.
A few things have changed with the new website. I raised the price of my sessions from $40 to $50 for 1-5 people. The other thing that has changed is that there is no longer proofs with you session. The session will include an online gallery accessed through my website with a password and ordering available from there! This needed to change so that I could keep up with my sessions better! The other change is my wedding prices. I chose to leave all of my enlargements the same price and now offer more sizes.
I want to thank all of you who have chose to use Wierenga Photography in the past and look forward to meeting many more people in the future! Thank you for your support!

My neighbor breeds kittens and asked if I would come and take some pictures of them. I think they are so little and cute! I learned that pets are worse than trying to take pictures of kids. They don't want to stay for ANYTHING! But it was fun and something different definitely! She has five of them but as you can see I think the most I got to stay in the basket at a time were four. Oh well, it was a good time trying!

I haven't been doing much shooting lately as you can tell by the lack of posts! :) With warm weather brings, hopefully, more photo shoots. As you can see I posted my new session prices and enlargement prices! I am getting ready for a wedding this weekend with Mike and Kathy!

As you can tell I always have great models to practice with on a daily basis. They absolutely can't stand having the camera in their faces though.

I am really looking forward to a photography workshop in May with Lisa Kae Photography! I hope to get a lot out of this workshop. Can't wait!

This is my sister and her family. I am so excited to get new pictures of the family. The ones on my wall of them are from when I was just starting and knew nothing really and I just look at it and think of all the things I would have done differently.
We were laughing while taking them because her son Carter isn't a big fan of sitting still at all. At one point I was putting a cookie on top of my flash and making it fall, I felt like a bit of a circus clown. HaHa..Anyway I hope you enjoy the pictures.

I just finished my first wedding. It was amazing. This wedding gave me many challenges. It was extremely windy all day with huge gusts of wind. It was rainy during the portraits. Everything I could be challenged with I was. I am happy with the results though and more importantly so are Mike and Pam.
